Is there anyway to get a discount on a child's airplane seat? I have a 17 month old that I would like to get a seat for but don't really want to pay full price. Thanks!

My cousin get this all the time when she flies with her two children. She uses Southwest I belive? I know that you have to ask for it they don't just offer it up so talk to the person that books your flight and be sure to ask.

You can also have the child sit on your lap and save the cost of a seat

The last time I flew I didn't get a child seat. I kept my son on my lap. Luckily the plane ride was n ot that far because he was miserable being cooped up in my lap. For any child over the age of 10 months, get the seat and pay what ever it costs because if not you will have a horrible ride.
