I always have bought Sony or Pioneer and never had a bad thing to say about either so I would suggest that you look for one of those. If you have a circuit city or best buy in the area you may even want to look for open box items to save some money.

If you can get a hold of a Kenwood my mother in law has had one of these for many years and had no problems with it. I think that it was a little on the pricey side but worth it.
