My fiancé wants satellite radio for his car and I thought it would make a great birthday gift for him. There are so many on the market now and I don’t know which one to buy. I would like to go with Sirius, but there are so many different ones. Does anyone have satellite radio?

I have Sirius satellite radio. I purchased mine from RadioShack. I have the Sirius S50 receiver with car kit. The cost is about $200.00 at RadioShack, but you might want to check Wal-Mart to see if you can get a better price there.

We also have sirius and you can get a reciever that is plug and play for $55.00 or so. This is what we bought as our second receiver for my husband's car since he is always dirty we didn't want anything too expensive.

I am a huge fan of satallite radio as they have all the new music sooner than regular radio and they also play music that your mainstream stations won't. I went with Sirius since they have all the baseball games.

I don't have satellite radio, but I have always wanted one. I hear so many good things from my friends that have one. I hear XM radio is cheap. They say it costs like 10 bucks a month.

I know that we pay $12.95 for Sirus a month and it is worth every penny. We both really enjoy it and I don't know how we ever lived without it. The good thing about them is if you get a second one the subscription goes down to $6.00 a month for the second one.

Is it really that good? im not too sure, i would only want it just for howard stern, but thats just not enough to make me want to pay to listen to the radio
