I know those PC vs. Mac advertisements are very popular but I was just wondering, has anyone bought a Mac because of them?

I also have not purchased a Mac because of the ads, but I am sure that some people will. I am curious as to if what they are advertising about no viruses is true and if it can stay that way forever?

Yep. You heard it right. Macs don't get any viruses. But as far as the rest go, there's not a lot of difference between a PC & MAC now..The one notable difference would be the OS...but these days there are the Intel Macs capable of running any OS.

And there's no limit to the multi-tasking capabilities of the MAC as demonstrated in this picture..

LOL! That picture is too funny. My interpretation of it though would be that, that is all that MAC's are good for is frying an egg. I really dislike them and feel that they are far behind ever cathing up to the PC.

Lmao! Funny picture dude! Let me see if I can find one. As far the ads go, most mac commercials are funny but they are misleading. I wouldn't recommend mac for general home use. I use lot of audio & video editing and my Mac is the best!

And besides, I hate Microsoft so much Evil or Very Mad

Now that is the kind of commercial that I would like to see. I am not a fan of the Macs and have really never been disappointed in my PC.
