I ma currently in the market for a web camera as well.
If anyone has any suggestions, let me know. I am looking to keep it within $20 if possible

You want to be very carefull when buying webcams! Quite a few of the buggers dont have the important info on the packaging - such as quality and compatability, I find that the best place for this sort of purchase is usually ebay.

There are many sites sell webcams at low price. But the quality is not so very good.

You might also want to look locally for people who are selling webcams- like on classifieds. Try craigslist or backpage.com...I see tons of webcams for sale nowadays. Good luck

Logitech cams are pretty nice. They are not expensive either. I have one. I works very well. I use it for chatting online and sending video emails. I really like it a lot.
