Does anyone know of a good place to buy external hard drives? I have been looking everywhere and they all seem so damned expensive! Im looking for one that has about 80 gb of space - thanks.

Maybe you can have a look at ebay and buy it from a buyer who open an ebay store.

I find that the first 10000 ebay listings tend to be spammed with crappy $0.01 pink hard drives with $200 postage. Im looking for a reliable electronics company of some sort, that people have had good experiences with.

You can buy internal hard drives and a USB HDD casing and just put your internal hard drive in casing and attach via USB. It will cost you less. Another option is buy Seagate external 80GB hard drive and its model no is ST980801U2-RK. It has 5 years warranty and you can find dealers at your local stores. If you dont know any dealers then you can find via seagate.com
Go for seagate you won't regret it.
