What is EDTV?
Is it HDTV capable.
If you could clarify what EDTV means it would be helpful
Thanks |

This television is reviewed here <blocked>www.techabout.com/plasmatv/ as well as some other great reviews. There is also a definition of EDTV on there somewhere for those that are looking for that.

I recently bought a Slyvania 42” Plasma EDTV. I love this television. EDTV means enhanced definition television. From what I have read and have been told the picture quality is better than HDTV. I guess the picture quality is just a lot better.

If you don't mind me asking sunshine, what did you pay for your plasma? I am looking for one right now too and don't want to spend a fortune. I saw one at Wal-Mart the other day that I am thinking about, they have it on clearance for 1,800.00?

I paid $1650.00 for mine. I got a really good deal on the television, I purchased it from REX. They gave me a huge discount for paying cash. I would buy the television from Wal-mart because it sounds like a really good deal.

I second that Sunshine. I think that Melvin should definantly snatch that one up. It is rare to find a plasma that is under $2000.00 so get it and enjoy, you will not regret it.

I have been searching for a Plasma television, but I can’t find one that I like for under $2000. I want one, but I can’t afford to spend that much money right now. Maybe I will just wait until its tax time.
